Better Understanding Indigenous Realities

Over the past few years, issues raised by Indigenous Peoples have increasingly come to the forefront. It is often difficult to gain a clear understanding of these issues because they are highly complex and there are few resources available to make them more accessible and easier to understand.

Through 6 thematic modules including 19 video capsules and knowledge assessments, totaling nearly 10 hours of training, immerse yourself in the realities of Indigenous Peoples and revisit recent history to better understand the perspectives and dynamics involved when working with First Peoples.

This high-quality training program was designed by members of First Nations communities and is recognized by many professional organizations and educational institutions.

Institut Ashukan offers professional training on a wide range of topics related to the First Peoples living in Canada and North America. Their approach aims to provide a deeper understanding of historical, political, and social issues in order to better understand Indigenous perspectives.

If you purchase training for more than 10 people using the “Register Multiple Participants” option below, the price is $250 per person. For groups larger than 25 people, please contact support at support-miiro@miiro.ca for custom pricing.
