Different elements will be addressed in this training regarding the quality of classroom feedback. In particular, the types of feedback that can be offered to students and the importance of feedback in supporting learning and improving learner autonomy. We will revisit the concepts of metacognition, self-regulation, and scaffolding in order to better understand the role of feedback and teacher support in improving performance, developing student autonomy, and maintaining motivation to learn.
