Facing Anorexia – Part 2

The school psychologist is a key professional in the detection of young girls struggling with this issue. At the onset of the illness, they can provide rapid intervention, maintain communication with parents, and work collaboratively with the school nurse to prevent the deterioration of the young person’s condition. They can also participate in follow-up and post-follow-up care with specialized clinics.

The workshop will provide tools to better understand this clientele and to recognize the psychologist’s role throughout the different phases of the illness, along with concrete tools and strategies for managing contamination in the school environment.
