Intervention with Adolescents Who Are Victims of Trauma

Adolescence is an important developmental period filled with challenges and needs. Psychological intervention with adolescents who are victims of post-traumatic stress must be adapted to the reality of these young people. This workshop is intended as a space for reflection on issues specific to victimized adolescents while addressing legal aspects, the consequences of trauma during adolescence, the assessment of the effects of sexual assault, conceptualization, and differential diagnosis. Cognitive-behavioral psychotherapy will also be explored.
