Raise awareness among preschool professionals about their crucial role in screening, while remaining within the limits of their roles and competencies. We will examine the different neurodevelopmental disorders whose manifestations may be observed before the age of 5 (ASD, dysphasia, dyspraxia, ADHD). We will discuss the difference between developmental delay and developmental disorder before addressing the main characteristics of these disorders. Clinical vignettes and case studies will illustrate the complexity of diagnosis at this age and provide observation tools for professionals.
